Relationships are so important in the lives of teen girls. One of the most common issues that we talk to girls about is relationships. Today we discuss some behaviors and attitudes that permeate many teen relationships and explain why those behaviors and attitudes are not love. We also discuss some of the behaviors and attitudes that do define love.

Mat has been reading an awesome book on parenting by Larry Winget called Your Kids Are Your Own Fault. We don’t want to let you guys off the hook. Your relationship with your parents has two sides to it. In this podcast we talk about how you affect the relationship with your parents. Actually the conversation that we have can apply to any kind of relationship really.

We also want to introduce the Snowball… our new microphone. This was our first ever podcast with the new microphone. We think it sounds pretty good… and it looks cool too.

WOW! Thanks for all of the support that we are getting. February was another amazing month for us. We obliterated last months record for the number of podcast downloads. We keep getting more and more excited about things as they develop.

Last week we talked about some statistics that shed light on teenage sexual behavior. This week we continue that discussion. We talk about how many teens are sexually active, older guys, why many teens are waiting longer to begin having sex.

Breaking Up Is Hard To Do

It happens to all of us. The breakup. Sometimes you are the broken hearted one. Sometimes you have to be the one that is doing the breaking. Whatever side of the breakup you are on, it is not pleasant.

Jessica and Aubin are with us again and we all share break-up stories. Hopefully you will be able to laugh at some of the uncomfortable situations from our past that the four of us discuss. We also hope that some of the ideas that we talk about can help you get over a breakup and broken heart more easily.

In the end, Mat is confused and forgets what year it is.

Jessica and Aubin wanted to make sure that we covered this topic on our podcast this week. For Teen girls, relationships with friends are so important. Jessica and Aubin talk about the importance of choosing good friends. Jessica gets a little personal and lets us know that she is not perfect. Aubin also shares a story about a difficult choice that she had to make.

The truth is, you are probably going to end up doing what your friends are doing. I have often thought that the reason that I did not make some really stupid decisions in my teen years was because I had good friends.
