Queen Bees & Wannabes

Over the weekend, I saw a quick documentary of the movie, “Mean Girls” and the story behind it. I have always LOVED this movie because I think it really tries to portray an accurate picture of what life is really like for many teen girls and their relationships with other girls. I know it isn’t true for all teen girls but I think for most, it brings out some really true parts of the struggles and drama between girls and their friends and even their frienemies.

Anyway, I wanted to post a blog site here and also the book title and author who inspired the “Mean Girls” movie. The blog post has a entry called, “Don’t be a mean girl” and I loved it. I believe that site has gone to another newer site now but I still wanted to post this one.

Look around and evaluate yourself in your friendship role. It might surprise you how many “mean girls” surround you or maybe even how often you, yourself might be being a “mean girl.”
