The idea for today’s podcast came when Amanda stood us up for a recording session. She was going ice fishing with her grandpa. We thought that was a very appropriate reason to miss recording. The trade off was that she was obliged to share any advice that her grandpa shared with her. It took us a little while to catch up with her, but we did, and the result is a fantastic discussion about advice that we have all received from grandpa.

It is the middle of July. There are a lot of families who take their vacations this time of year. Family vacations are very important for families. They provide a time that families can be together outside of the regular routine. When family members participate in family vacations they have an opportunity to build relationships and connect with family members in different ways.

Today we share some of our favorite family vacation ideas. It may be a little late (your family may have already done their vacation this year), but some of these ideas are simple and are something that your family may still be interested in doing.

Everyone has been to the awkward party during the Holiday Season. It’s even worse when you are throwing the party and the people who are there think the party is boring. This podcast focuses on games that you can use to liven up any party that you find yourself attending.

Aubin brings the word ‘also’ back into the podcast. Mat has a HORRIBLE idea about meeting people… and gets shot down by the rest of the group… it really was a bad idea. Summer demonizes ‘white elephant’ games.

There should be no excuse to be bored over this holiday season with the many entertaining ideas that we provide in this podcast.

It is our birthday. The Teen Esteem Council podcast has been broadcasting for 1 year. Thanks for all of the support that you have given us. Thanks to all of those who have been following us from the beginning.
