Add some depth to your life

I have been reading a book called Packaging Girldood by Sharon lamb and Mikel Brown. One of the great points that they make in the book is that the media gives girls only 2 choices of identity. Either you are for the boys or you are one of the boys. You can either be the sexy, stylish type or you can be the athletic tomboy type. But you can’t be both or anything inbetween.
What they media does not portray however, is that every girl is a human being with many likes, dislikes, and talents. Each girl has her own desires and dreams.
Understand that as a teenage girl you are more than what the media portrays teenage girls to be.
