17 again!

So I have to admit and I hope its okay but I’m not a huge Zac Efron fan compared to others but I saw the movie 17 again and really liked it.  I loved the idea that this father went back and was able to see his daughter and son and how they behaved with friends.  I had two favorite quotes in it and thought I would share and comment on them:

*When you’re young everything feels like the end of the world. But it’s not; it’s just the beginning.  Because it’s May and graduation for some, this is so important to remember.  Life is so important at every stage we are in but it is so important to remember that life is always changing and moving – nothing is the end of the world!

*If you don’t respect yourself, how do you expect others to respect you?  I know in the context of this movie, they are talking about their appearance and willingness to do things with this boy they don’t even know but I love this comment just in general…  Respect goes a long way with people.  Respect you first and others will follow always!  You can show respect for yourself in so many ways too: the way you talk, act and even think about yourself.
